The Data Council is an image and data service provider. The IX-ONE Exchange is the single-source solution platform, where distributor and retailer partners can access supplier images and data for marketing initiatives, planograms, category management, space planning, publications, e-commerce, supply chain, and warehouse operations. Our partners have access to GS1 compliant images, +1000 data points for each of your products – all available for easy download. Our service is a critical process to bringing product images and attributes to life within many systems throughout the industry. Some partner names you may recognize are Whole Foods, KeHE, New Seasons, Fresh Thyme, Sprouts, UNFI and many more.
The RIVIR platform will be replacing the IX-ONE Exchange beginning in 2024. RIVIR is a GS1 Certified Global Data Synchronization Network (GDSN) data pool. RIVIR was built from the ground up to be the only solution your organization needs to source, manage, and share the images and content you need to drive online and retail sales.

Please note that although items may be sent in the same shipment, they could appear on multiple invoices over 2-3 billing cycles.
Product being sent in for imaging and data attribution is a capture. If updates are required, it will be recaptured. Either process requires submission of a Product Upload Form from your Company to initiate this process.
Once an item is initially captured, an annual ongoing renewal fee is incurred to maintain that capture in IX-ONE for visibility to Members.

Great question! Even though The Data Council has joined the SPINS family, we’re still in the process of fully integrating. For the time being, we’re continuing to operate separately, and your membership remains important. We’ll keep you in the loop with any updates or changes along the way!
It’s likely that we’ll offer this integration in the future, but we’re still working out the details. We’ll keep you updated as we finalize the plans!
