YES – but with good reason! Our commitment to our mutual trading partners is that we will weigh, measure, image, collect and verify all product content from live retail ready product through our Professional Capture Services. The Professional Capture process will be completed at all selling levels of the product (unit, inner pack or shelf caddy, and case).

 

It is critical that you receive your shipping authorization from The Data Council support team and that a full retail ready master case for each item is shipped as we provide images and data for all package levels. As the leading platform for trusted and reliable product content – distributors, and retailers access supplier content to power their marketing, e-commerce, planogramming, merchandising, supply chain, and warehousing operations. Our service combines comprehensive packaging information including weights, dimensions, nutritionals, certifications and attributes alongside an extensive image set needed for  supply chain logistics, planogramming, e-Commerce, and marketing activities.

Before you ship product to us for photography and data capture, please ensure you have submitted your order using our Product Load Resource Center.  This is necessary to ensure a smooth check-in at our studio and to avoid delays.

 

Critical note: Please be certain you have received shipping authorization from The Data Council support team as our studio addresses are subject to change.

 

Remember the items you are sending in for capture are items that will represent your brand on Data Council’s IX-ONE Exchange to our mutual trade partners. Speaking to your warehouse or shipping area about the products that need to be sent and advising them that they are for pictures can also help in the capture process.

Product being sent to IX-ONE for first time capture or re-capture (if your product has changed) requires submission of a Product Load Form using 2 short steps (obtain current Load Form and once completed submit it). This is necessary to ensure a smooth check-in at our studio and to avoid capture delays or product loss for you, our valued Member. Please do not ship without receiving shipping authorization from your Data Council support.

 

STEP 1: Access Product Load Form Resource Center by clicking HERE. Download Product Load form using the BLUE button and find instructions for completing.

This is necessary to ensure a smooth check-in at our studio and to avoid capture delays or product loss for you, our valued Member.

 

Once the authorized Load Form found Professional Capture Services center is submitted a follow up email with shipping authorization and detailed instructions will be sent to you.  The Product Load Resource Center also contains more details with FAQ’s about completing the form as well as best shipping practices.

Advanced Search

Using the video link below, please review the details of the IX-ONE Exchange Image Selection process, which includes how the “cart” works.  Note that this process also covers the download of your product content.

 

Image Selection

 

Using the filter from file feature (highlighted in the image aboe) from the home Exchange screen, you can create a file for return of products.  Create a excel file with a header in cell A1 (case sensitive) of UPC12.  List UPCs 1 per row under the header.  The UPCs must match exact UPC as captured through IX-ONE publication process.

There can be several reasons why you are not seeing your items in the IX-ONE Exchange:

 

1)The missing item was marked as discontinued.

 

2)The missing item has been updated causing the UPC12 to be changed on your item.

 

3)The missing item has not yet been submitted for capture/publication.

 

4)The missing item may have been submitted but is not yet ACTIVE.

 

Please reference our Professional Capture Services support page to have your item captured.  Otherwise, please see the contact button options at the bottom of this screen if assistance is still needed.

If you are a member and wish for a product to no longer be visible to your team or our mutual trade partners, you may do so within your portal profile.  To access, please CLICK HERE.  Once logged in, you will see the NEW! Discontinue feature visible for active published items within your portfolio.  Simply follow on-screen prompts.

We have noticed an increasing number of requests from our members to return products they have shipped in for imaging. While we have made special accommodations in the past, the frequency of such requests has led us to make an ultimate decision.

 

Effective immediately, we are implementing a comprehensive “NO RETURNS” policy with no exceptions. This means that we will no longer be accepting any return requests, regardless of the circumstances.
